Hi! I'm Danielle.

I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer located in the heart of Center Wellington. A storyteller at heart, getting to document the most important milestones in my clients lives is the biggest blessing. I live on a crop farm with my husband, two kids and a crazy dog. Tractors and combines are the only thing my son talks about, so I've learned a thing or two about equipment.

My love of the Lord is what keeps me in awe of the world around us. My admiration for history and travel is what drives my creative story-telling work. I have a Bachelors Degree in Photography from Sheridan College. My years of experience. Lifetouch School Photography and working with amazing wedding photographers has helped to refine my craft.

Photography is more than just taking a few pretty photos...its creating memories and sharing stories. Frozen moments in time to be cherished for generations to come. For me, it's about creating timeless photos that will be proudly shown on the walls of your home. Telling the story of your family, love story, or a day on the farm is what I am all about! Creating a body of work which tells a story is a top priority. Bringing fun, organization and a few dance moves to our session is a promise!

Where it all started...

Seeing the world through different perspectives is what art is all about. I get asked all the time; "why photography"? Why on earth did you choose to get a Bachelors Degree in Photography?

Here’s the simple answer: my Dad. He was an artist, and I feel like I would have made him proud by following my dream of art too.

Photos are so, so, so important. When my dad passed, I didn’t get much. All I have his an old jean jacket and a few photos. They are my most cherished possessions. They are what has kept his memory alive after over 20 years of him not being here (and all the crazy stories of course).

So when I get a beautiful shot of a child and their parent. I think; that’s THE photo. That’s the one that will be cherished for years to come. Photos may not seem important now... but one day they’ll be what you cling to. To keep memories alive, to smile and to reminisce of way back when. They are sometimes all you’re left with. So... make the time to make memories with loved ones. Take the photos. 🤍
